Dear Friends,
So our tumultuous winter continues with another Nor'easter on its way – but the Vernal Equinox tells us today is the first day of Spring.
Equal day. Equal night. Balance. A pause before the beginnings of a new season.
This page on THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC is a fascinating and fun collection of facts, seasonal lore and ancient wisdom on the Spring Equinox – along with lots of helpful info if you plan to plant a garden.
If you'd like more info on the goddesses and gods associated with the coming of Spring, I highly recommend a visit to Beth Owlsdaughter's blog.
Once again, I'm including this special link to THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC BIRD CALL PAGE
These are the only tweets I want to listen to right now. I recommend them for a daily jolt of joy.
Spring is right behind that Nor'easter. Get ready to turn the corner.
Shiver
of creation-
tree lover, physical
sympathy with nature,
creation brewing in that fragile
girl/woman body,
lifting that young/old eagle soul,
creation
shivers through you, all
ready to speak out -- Let love
love through you, always.
