Dear Friends,

This photograph from my archives reminds me of things that unite us; basic needs we all strive for.  Peace.  Freedom.  Useful labor.  Respect.  Equal rights under the law.
I can't say it better then Dr. King himself said it:

"In a real sense, all life is inter-related … I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be, and you can never be who you ought to be until I am what I ought to be …"  - Martin Luther King Jr., Letter from Birmingham Jail

I'll  leave you with the rallying cry of N.C. Moral Mondays, the national Moral Movement, and the new Poor People's Campaign, all led by Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II

Forward together. Not one step back.

We still have a dream
but we're awake

now, right now.
It's time.
Now.
